Is there some magic formula for a happy marriage? Do you have to be talented, intelligent, well spoken, successful, or is it merely increasing your love for your spouse? Do you need a special skill set? Do you have what it takes to have a happy marriage?
Who wants problems? No one I know of actually prays, "Dear Jesus, I would like to have a problem today." If anything, we pray for the opposite. And since life is full of problems, then however we find true happiness must in some way include the problems, trials, and adversities of life.

Perhaps a better question would be why would you want a God you could completely understand? It is so you can feel equal to God? So that His decisions would be more palatable to you? So that you could relate better, or perhaps so you do not need to trust Him.
